To start off my scrumptious dessert series for Fathers Day this Sunday I thought I would show you three very tasty and very simple desserts that are sure to please the Dad in your life.

Posted September 4, 2014, Updated December 12, 2025

Firstly Cheesecake! When I was asking around my friends what their husbands favourite dessert was Cheesecake was always in the top two choices! This one is so simple and so tasty you are sure to be popular wherever you take it. It can be made into little mini cheesecakes, into a square slice tin or as I did in a spring form tin to serve as a whole dessert.

So I give you my Divine White Chocolate Cheesecake with Berry Coulis   I have made this with Whittaakers Raspberry White Chocolate – but any of your favourite White Chocolate will do. Click on This LINK to take you to the recipe and wow your friends with how simple and tasty it is!

Secondly you cannot go past Chocolate for a dessert favourite – and this Chocolate Self Saucing Pudding ticks all the boxes for a chocolate loving Dad, rich, warm, tasty with a lovely chocolatey sauce – and best for you it is simple and takes no time to whip up! Serve with Ice Cream, Cream or Yoghurt for a Fathers Day dessert he is sure to remember. Click on This LINK  to see just how easy it is.

Now for something a little different – perhaps for the Dad that is watching his weight, or likes a lighter dessert – check out these Jelly Mousse Creations! They are so pretty and with a little creative assembly you will blow his socks off! You can make this with regular or diet products so is suitable for all dads out there. Click on This LINK  to see how to do it yourself, it is easier than it looks. You could use a Chocolate Mousse and chocolate shavings for something different on top – or a chocolate cream – be creative and anything you make will be a hit I’m sure.

Thank you so much for stopping by to see these first 3 dessert options for Fathers Day – they would be ideal for any great occasion for someone special in your life.

Let me know if you try them – even better flick me a picture if you do, I love to see your creations whether they work or not, whether the photos are good or not, even if the dishes are still all over the bench like at my place! It is the thought that counts remember.

Thank you so much for stopping by to check out this recipe, you can follow me on Facebook & Instagram and also follow this blog via email to receive all my recipes as I publish them so check out the subscription box below.

Happy Baking!
